Mia J. Chong

Contemporary choreographer and dancer Mia J. Chong will be creating a new dance arrangement for artists from Bay Area dance company Post:ballet for the “Breaking Down Walls” event. Vân-Ánh Võ will provide music.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Mia has received a Princess Grace Award, Chris Hellman Dance Honor, Jacob’s Pillow Ann & Weston Hicks Choreography Fellowship, plus numerous other awards. She currently studies Organizational Behavior and Change at New York University and dances with ODC/Dance Company, which she joined in 2016. Mia choreographs dance works throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
