Dhaya Lakshminarayanan

Dhaya Lakshminarayanan will serve as emcee for the “Breaking Down Walls” event.

Dhaya’s numerous awards and accolades include winning the Liz Carpenter Political Humor Award presented by the National Women’s Political Caucus in 2016 and being named one of 20 “Women to Watch” in a KQED series celebrating women artists, creatives and makers in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a television host, Dhaya helmed the inaugural season of the Emmy award-winning series High School Quiz Show on PBS’s WGBH. She is a frequent comedic storyteller on NPR’s Snap Judgment and currently serves as the host of San Francisco’s monthly The Moth.
